In 1985, David co-founded Flurry International with a Taylor Freezer distributor to compete with the Dairy Queen Blizzard dessert. Flurry's customers included TCBY, Columbo Yogurt, Friendly's Ice Cream, Edy's Ice Cream, and thousands of independent operators. David created and patented the Flurry high speed spoon/agitator now used in the McDonalds McFlurry ice cream program.

In 1990, David started Salubre Foods International, which he still owns today. The company has private-label food products manufactured in several plants and sells a branded Gourmet Pizza

Food Court concept. As President and CEO, he ran the company until 1996 when he licensed the sales and marketing to Bull's Eye Brands. Bull's Eye continues to grow the company and now operates as a franchise in over 100 convenience stores and colleges. David Brown is a past consultant and principal in Great American Beverage Company that markets frozen beverage programs nationally. He also did consulting work for Starbucks Coffee in 2003. David's real estate career began in 1998 when he formed the commercial department of Sea Pines Real Estate Company. That business grew into the Southern Lifestyle Group Realty. David became a real estate developer in 2005 when he and two partners developed Abbey Glen, a single-story condominium home concept which is part of a national franchise.

Born in Erie, PA, David was educated at Cedarville College and Gannon University as a Business major. He was drafted into the Army and served a year in Viet Nam where he was awarded the Bronze Star and Viet Nam Service medal. He and his wife, Cathy, and their 4 children moved to Hilton Head Island from Cleveland, Ohio in 1994. They are very active in supporting the Hilton Head Christian Academy, serving on various committees and boards. David is also past Chairman of the Deacon Board and an Elder at Hilton Head Presbyterian Church, where he is the Chairman of the Staff Oversight Committee.

Robert Denckhoff currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for operations in both Southern Lifestyle Group Realty and Abbey Glen, a residential real estate development in Hardeeville.

Robert has a background in leadership and management as an officer in the United States Marine Corps from 1995-2001. After which he found success as a Sales Executive for a Fortune 500 telecommunications company. Eventually he left corporate America to start a real estate investment company and residential real estate brokerage in St. Louis, MO

David attended Hilton Head Christian Academy until he graduated in 2003.  Following his passion for the aviation business, he went to the world renowned Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.  There he acquired the hobbies of piloting private planes and racing motorcycles.  Aviation still remains a hobby of David�s, but he realized that the aviation business was not for him. 

After two years in Florida, David moved back to Hilton Head to start a new career.  He is currently a residential and commercial realtor at Southern Lifestyle Group, and is a Sales Executive for Abbey Glen of Hilton Head.

Claudine Montano graduated with a Bachelor�s degree, with honors, from York University in Toronto, Canada in the year 2000. After graduating, she continued working at the job she had before graduation, as a flight attendant, then as a manager for a Canadian airline company. But with the growing uncertainty of careers in the airline industry, in 2002 she pursued a new career path and became a licensed financial advisor specializing in investment and insurance products. She quickly became a top producer and Sunlife of Canada�s youngest female Recruiting and Training Manager in the country in 2004. In early 2006, she joined a former fellow Sunlife associate as a minority partner in an independent brokerage firm to better serve the investment and insurance needs of her rapidly growing client base.

Recently however, Claudine lost two very special people in her life.
